7 Things You Should Know About Optical Migraines
Do you have ocular migraine? With or without a headache, if you enjoy the visual disturbances of an aura in only one eye, yours may be an ocular migraine.
Specific Symptoms of Ocular Migraine:
How do i know if I present an ocular migraine? I will have a number of the following specific symptoms. See if any of these is true of you.
1. Holes in your discipline of vision - places where nothing at all is. Perhaps you are looking at a flower, and the center of the flower is lost. Or you are watching television, and you can see the outside of the screen, but cannot see the biggest market of the picture. When you close the unaffected attention, you can see that portion of the screen. The affected eye, however, has a blind spot.
2. When looking through this affected eye, you see everything since hidden behind a tone of gray. It is as though you were watching television and someone slipped some thin gray cloth in the screen.
3. Another test for ocular migraine is to see if the affected eye sees things as though looking through a eye-port with rain streaming off over it. The watery glass effect is going to be limited to one observation.
Ocular Migraine Symptoms Are Temporary
While you might feel, during an optical migraine episode, that you will do not ever see clearly again, the symptoms are temporary but will not cause lasting damage to your eye.
While they are present, however, ocular migraine symptoms will interfere with daily activities such since reading and driving.
Why Ocular Migraine Is not just Another Migraine Aura
Providing your breathing to calm down follow these steps:
1. Require a long slow deep breath and exhale equally slowly.
2. Again take a long, slow deep air. As you're slowly inhaling focus on the sensation of the air filling your lungs. Feel the air filling your overall body. Once you've inhaled even though is comfortable again exhale slowly. As you're exhaling consentrate on the sensation of the air leaving your lungs and escaping through the mouth area. Breathe out completely.
3. Repeat practise of inhaling slowly, focusing on the sensation in the air filling your lungs and exhaling slowly 5 more times.
several. By the fourth repetition it's best to notice that your breathing is much more relaxed and calm. Your heart rate should now also provide lowered back to a resting rate and you should even feel slightly tired. If so embrace that feeling and yourself to fall asleep.
Lavender Oil
This can be the final step in practise. Lavender oil is renowned for its medicinal properties and it's doubly so for migraine headaches. Lavender oil is low-cost and completely safe to use. Only use pure Lavender petroleum for treating migraines : lavender scented fragrances and also scented oils are ineffective. If you aren't able to take a shower, try putting a very good compress on your face. Sit quietly in a darkened room. This will help relieve light or noise sensitivity together with nausea. A face massage are able to ease the headache pain and stimulate blood circulation. A warm foot soak is usually good for blood move. Migraine Symptoms
